The Manifesto
We exist for the small dogs
— and the people who carry them.
The Lap Dog Society was founded on a simple observation: certain dogs prefer to be held. Certain people are honored to hold them. The arrangement is ancient and largely beyond comment.
We make garments and goods for that arrangement. Cream-toned, comfort-dyed, cut with restraint. Worn first by the human; eventually borrowed by the dog.
Small dogs. Big privileges.

When does my order ship?+
Within three business days. Domestic orders arrive in 3–6 days; international in 7–14. Tracking accompanies each parcel.
What if it doesn't fit?+
Unworn, unwashed shirts may be exchanged within thirty days. Postage is on us for the first exchange.
Will the dog like it?+
Eventually. Most customers report the shirt is co-opted as bedding within two weeks. This is considered an endorsement.
Do you restock sold-out chapters?+
Rarely. Each chapter is issued once. When it's gone, it's gone — onto the next one.
Is this a charity?+
Not strictly, but one dollar of every order goes to small-breed rescue. Annual ledger published each January.
